Excellent!

If you're looking for a well-written, amusing, touching, and believable story with quirky characters, you've come to the right place! The Christian theme is strong but not overpowering. Shelter is a fast-moving story which was great because I didn't want to put it down once I started it. The author did a marvelous job creating characters I cared about. I felt like I knew them from page one. I love her easy flow and somewhat sarcastic humor, too. This is the first book I've read by Robin Merrill but it surely won't be the last.

Very well-written story...the character development is wonderful, and the setting is so believable I could picture myself there. This book was written with warmth and compassion by a writer who obviously has a heart for hurting people and the God who can heal each one of us.

I brought this book along with me on vacation and I was pretty happy I did. With a few late nights of reading, I had it finished quickly and was pretty sad it was all over! It was excellent. The characters were well-developed and I found myself cheering them on often. The "bad guy" was believable enough that I wanted to give him a piece of my mind! Well worth the time and effort to read. I highly recommend it!
